Updated: After my post about the Website charging tax on gift certificates, Posh had this corrected the next day. Thank you Posh!This review is not about their services - it's about their website. When trying to buy gift certificates on their website, they are charging tax - this is not in accordance with CT law. I called the Westport location and notified them that their website was charging tax on gift certificates. They said that they would get back to me, it's been 3 days so I'm giving them a poor review.ct.gov/drs/cwp/view.asp?…Ruling 89-91The purchase of a gift certificate is not subject to sales and use tax. The gift certificate is deemed to be consideration at the time it is redeemed by the retailer. The sales or use tax applies to the total sales price for the purchase of taxable merchandise when the gift certificate is redeemed by the retailer. Read Less

Let me start off by saying that my nails do look nice hence the the star. However, the way I was treated was not ok. I was gifted a manicure and pedicure from posh to which I have never gone to, I finally went only to be disappointed. After I picked a color I must've been left waiting in the pedicure seat for 10 minutes before someone came to me. The women was going to start my pedicure when the manager? Owner? Came up to us and told her to attend the women who had sat next to me (and after me) first because she had done her brows prior EVEN THOUGH I WAS WAITING FOR 10 MINS. I was left waiting g again as I saw everyone else getting their pedicures and workers walking around freely. 5 mins later "Kim" came to do my pedicure. She did it very quickly and when it came time to do my nails she skipped steps such as letting my hands sit in water, cleaning around and under nails, and massaging hands. Which every other person getting their nails done was receiving (yes I looked around). I am sure I was being discriminated against, although unsure if it was due to my gift certificate or my skin color seeing I was the only person of dark complexion in the premises. I felt very uncomfortable throughout this experience and will NOT be returning even if they paid me. Read Less

Have been going to Posh for years. I've tried every technician in the shop and have never been disappointed. Management operates a tight, but happy, ship and it's always relaxing. Walk-ins are politely greeted as are all the regulars. What I like best is how the quality has never changed over the years. The manicurists never seem to leave, as do many in other shops.
